The Cadets of Waukesha West will kick off the marching band season with 10 music- and marching-filled days of band camp starting Monday, July 25th and running through Wednesday, August 3rd. Parents and students should refer to the summer newsletter that was recently emailed and to the calendar of events on this site for details.
And parents, siblings, other relatives, alumni and friends are all invited to join the Cadets in the parking lot on Wednesday afternoon, August 3rd around 4:40 to watch their first run-through of the season and see how hard they’ve worked. We hope to see many of you there to cheer on the band and celebrate their accomplishments. Go Cadets!!

Thanks to everyone who braved the cold and warmed up the Delafield Brewhouse at our 10th annual Flamingo Friday fundraiser! Everyone enjoyed an evening of great food, music by Jazz 1, raffles, a silent auction and spending time with other band parents and friends. We are grateful to all the volunteers who made this event possible and to all who attended for making it so much fun while helping us raise a record-setting amount for our band program!
Thank you to Kevin and Kyra Larson for providing another video of our bands’ concert performances. This year’s fall concert included a performance by the Les Paul Middle School 8th Grade Band. We were excited to welcome future West band students as well as to perform for an audience full of family and friends. If you weren’t able to make it to the concert, you can watch it here.
Congratulations to the Cadets of Waukesha West for an outstanding performance and second place finish in AAAA at the WSMA Marching Band Competition at UW-Whitewater. What a great way to end a fantastic season! Thanks to all the students, directors, parents and boosters who made the show come together and become a crowd favorite. We’re already looking forward to next season!
