In 2019 she completed her masters degree at VanderCook College of Music in Chicago, graduating with high honors and completing a research-based masters thesis on burnout in high school band directors.

Outside of Waukesha West, Mrs. Granzow has taught and performed with a number of professional organizations. For 6 years, she was a member of the Kilties Drum and Bugle Corps. She performed as a color guard member and drum major, and taught for 2 years as a member of the brass and visual staff. Mrs. Granzow is currently a part of the Waukesha Area Symphonic Band where she plays oboe. She also maintains a private lesson studio where she works one-on-one with students looking for additional help on mastering their instrument and learning the art of making oboe reeds.

Mrs. Granzow is a deeply nerdy human who cannot wait to share her nerdiness and passion for music with her students at Waukesha West!
