2nd Annual Chip in for the Bands
7-13-22
Save Sunday August 28, 2022 on your calendar as the Waukesha West Bands host the second annual Chip in for the Bands at the Edgewood Golf Course in Big Bend, Wisconsin.
We are looking to max out the number of golfers for the event at 33 foursomes. So please spread the word and invite people to play. Money raised by the golf outing goes towards the Waukesha West Bands.
Build your team and plan for a fun day at Edgewood Golf Course. Included with 18 holes of golf and cart are a goodie bag, prizes, mulligans, raffles and contests. At our last Chip in for the Bands, the 50/50 raffle went for $700.00. You get all of this for only $85.00 a player.
We are now accepting reservations. You can sign individually or your entire foursome at: https://docs.google.com/forms/ d/1WcbBoqopUaFAZCwep0AC- nFPt58xLZCM79EkMHXAyJU/edit? usp=sharing

Of course this isn’t possible without the dedication and work of the students, Mrs. Granzow, Mr. Farmer, Waukesha West High School, parents, and the Waukesha West Band Board. We hope you enjoyed the evening!

4/25/22
We have a lot going on with our students and families this week. Here is a brief summary:
- We have two delicious fundraisers
- Tonight – Culvers on Sunset avenue. Grab dinner on a busy Monday night and a portion of the proceeds from 5pm to 8pm go to Waukesha West Bands. This is a simple and delicious way to support our students
- Wednesday evening – Saz’s drive through at Waukesha West High School from 4pm to 7pm. You will want to pre-order before 1pm Wednesday. You can do that with this link: Pre Order Here! All you do is pre-order and then pick up your delicious food at Waukesha West between 4pm and 7pm. Please share this information with friends and family in the community. Like Culvers, a portion of the sales goes to our students!
- State WSMA Solo and Ensemble is Saturday. The location and schedule is available here: https://wsmamusic.org/festivals/state/whitewater/
- Marching Band Mini Camp is at West this Sunday, May 1st! All percussionists, color guard, and new marching members need to arrive by 1:30 pm. All other returning members can arrive by 3:30 pm. Please make sure to bring your music, instrument, comfortable shoes for marching, water, sunscreen, and a pencil! Afterwards, there will be an all family meeting from 5:30-6:15 pm in the auditorium.
- All seniors and non-returning members must turn in their uniforms between 3-5:15 pm Sunday. Students must turn in 2 pairs of pants, 1 jacket, 1 garment bag, 1 shako/beret, and 1 hat box. Please remove all of your personal belongings ahead of time. All returned uniforms must come with a receipt from the dry cleaners or a check for $50 written to Waukesha West Band Boosters.
So, let our fundraisers take the stress out of mid-week meals today and Wednesday, on Saturday we wish all of our students participating at WSMA the best of luck, and on Sunday our Cadets gather to begin practice for the Fall 2022 season. What an exciting 6 days!
